Meet The Team
As a member of the Howling Heart Fitness community, you have a special opportunity to share in the experience of working with these legends!
Our coaches are not only certified fitness professionals, they're also skilled in a variety of other areas including weightlifting, sports nutrition, CrossFit Aerobic Capacity and neuromuscular physical therapy.
The basics work so being consistent and trusting the process works! Whether your goals are to get fit, lose some weight, or gain more muscle, you can trust that you're in good hands and are confident in what we provide at Howling Heart Fitness.
Co-Owner / Coach
Ki received his degree in Exercise & Health Studies in 2008. He is also certified in CrossFit Level 2, Weightlifting Ireland Level 1, CrossFit Aerobic Capacity and is also a PN Nutrition Coach. He incorporates this knowledge into nutrition guidance and coaching with the Howling Heart members.
His sporting background is rugby where he has represented Leinster at schools A level and has also represented them at senior level on the inter-pro winning juniors team. He has since switched to competing in CrossFit, triathlons and some weightlifting.
Co-Owner / Coach
Eithne is a certified Crossfit & Weightlifting coaching with 8 years coaching experience.
She is a practicing Neuromuscular Therapist and incorporates this knowledge into injury prevention and rehabilitation for Howling Heart members. She is also currently studying Sports Psychology.
Her sporting background is in Gaelic Football, and she has been competing in CrossFit & Weightlifting for many years.
She has represented Ireland in the Europeans and has won gold on two occasions in the Euros.
I grew up playing football and hurling (didn’t make county), played a bit of tennis and soccer, took up golf a few years ago and am currently trying to improve my weightlifting.
I have a degree in Sports and Exercise science and before joining the HH team I ran group fitness classes.
What I like about the type of training at HH, is that we all train together, any age and any level of fitness.
My background in sport started with camogie and football and later soccer with local clubs and college level.
I have always had an interest in sport and exercise and in 2010 I completed my BSc in Health and Leisure in Tralee IT.
Since finishing college I have worked in the leisure industry teaching a variety of classes including spinning, mobility and aqua aerobics classes.
I am a qualified swim teacher and have coached swim classes for children and adults.
In 2018, I finished my diploma in Hatha yoga in asanasm breathwork and mindfulness techniques.
Micheal O' Sullivan
Micheal found his love for sport and fitness through running. Starting back in 2014 he shows no signs of slowing down. He has gone on to become a level 2 swim teacher, has over 5 years experience as a gym instructor and personal trainer, became a PN Nutrition Coach in 2020 along with becoming a CrossFit Level 1 coach.
He has done 8 marathons and has been instructing/leading classes for 5 years in step, spinning, aquacise and more.
Micheal has been with us as a member since HH opened and continues to judge at CrossFit competitions nationally and internationally.
